INDEPENDENT SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Buhler Furniture is seeking a motivated Sales Representative in Nevada, Arizona, California, Florida, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Quebec regions. We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious self-starters to join our growing team as an Independent Sales Representative. Reporting to the Director of Sales, and working closely with Buhler’s team and network of sales agents, the Sales Representative is responsible for planning, driving, and fulfilling market development through commercial product sales. This role is focused on capturing a growing Senior Living market and further establishing a presence in Hospitality markets. He/she is responsible for developing and building partnerships with influential senior/retirement/hospitality focused groups, developers, and management companies. This role is integral for leading overall growth of Senior Living line in the US, and potentially increasing the sales representative network.

  • You are constantly identifying new opportunities and keep on-trend with industry shifts.
  • You are comfortable representing and liaising amongst industry events and tradeshows.
  • You can identify and establish strategic partnerships that best benefit the brand.
  • You can multitask, manage stress, and manage time despite a busy schedule. You are reliable and dependable, and are an outgoing individual willing to go the extra mile.
  • You are familiar with CRM systems and maintain diligence in submitting timely reports.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You have 3-5 years of sales experience and are familiar with retail, furniture, manufacturing and/or product development industries.
  • You have leadership/management experience with manufacturers and/or leading teams.
  • You are familiar with heavy travel and can accommodate 50-80% travel in your schedule.
  • You have a degree in business (or a related field). Sales-focused or project management certificates considered an additional asset.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and CRM programs.

STRUCTURE

The Sales Representative position is expected to operate on a full time basis, and is compensated 100% through commission of sales. Commission is flexible up to 5% (potentially based on a tiered sales incentive structure). Commission rates will be established through mutual negotiation between both parties, and executed through a formal agreement.
